What is the Show? Crafts at the Cathedral is a high quality, jury limited art and crafts show that offers artisans an opportunity to market their work in an exceptional venue in New York City during the holiday season. The show is run to raise funds for the charitable work of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and it is one of the few remaining artisan only crafts shows in the metro area.
What are the fees if I am accepted? Click here for 'apply' and look under 'How much are the fees?' There are no commissions taken from the exhibitors' sales.
How should I submit my images? Click here for 'apply' and look under 'How many slides/photos?'
Can I share my booth? Yes, However, both sharing exhibitors must complete a full application.
How will my application be screened? A jury drawn from New York artists and designers will meet on a monthly basis from Mar 1 to Aug 1 to select the exhibitors.
What services do you offer exhibitors? A crew will be available to help in unloading and reloading. 300 watts of electricity is supplied with more electricity available for a minor fee, if you need it. We also offer advice on booth lighting.
Do I provide my own booth? Yes, each exhibitor is expected to provide a well appointed booth.
Who attends the show? Over 3000 people attend from the tri-state region.
Do you advertise? We run advertisements in publications such as the New York Times and Time Out, as well as on public and commercial classical radio. We also send out press releases to publications in the NY metro area and cards to past year's attendees.
